Robert Peeples Jr’s career, spanning the military, corporate, and non-profit sectors, has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a wealth of organizational experience. At Ten One Strategies, he focuses on grant writing, management, and compliance. He is a certificated program manager with a deep understanding of developing budgets, scheduling, and program performance tracking.
A native Houstonian with deep family ties to the Delta region, Rob is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (BS) and Northwestern Oklahoma State University (MEd). He was an air force pilot and later flew as a civilian pilot in a Pentagon program before joining an engineering services firm where he spent nearly a decade. Rob has also been involved with the arts and museums all his life: he is an avid collector, a former gallery owner, and a practicing studio artist in various media. Following a move to Jackson, he served as operations director for the largest museum in the state for several years. He and his wife, Camille, now live in Westminster, Maryland.
Why Did You Choose Writing?
It chose me; I actually love to write. I cannot recall a time in my professional past when I was not called upon to produce written content for this or that. I clearly never heeded my own advice, “Never let them know you can write.” If something I have had a hand in writing winds up making someone else’s life healthier or happier, all the better.
